Clow Valve team members recently participated in a hands-on career exploration event aimed at connecting students with real-world tools, safety equipment and career pathways across more than 120 industries.
Held at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on April 15, the Build My Future Event brought together over 7300 students. Clow Valve team members Shelley Shepherd, Jamere Murphy, Chad Brendlinger and Jeremy Kleese attended the event, focusing on building meaningful connections with the future workforce.
This interactive format is intended to bridge the gap between classroom learning and career readiness. The event featured a wide range of industries, including construction, healthcare, engineering, law enforcement and technical trades, highlighting both traditional college pathways and alternative career options.
