Pete Settimi, Clow Valves General Sales Manager in Oskaloosa, Iowa recently had the pleasure of handing over the keys to a shiny Ford 4-door pick-up truck to Oskaloosa Fire Chief Mark Neff. This is the second truck that Clow has donated locally, the first being to the Oskaloosa Police Department.  "For years we have been donating our vans to the Police Department," Settimi said. Those vans then became D.A.R.E. vans.

In an article that appeared in the Oskaloosa News, Fire Chief Neff said that he sees the truck being utilized extensively.  "We don't have a pick-up that we can use at the department," saying they have brush trucks. The brush trucks are full of gear that is used to help fight field and brush fires. "When we have hose or other equipment that needs to be hauled back from the fire scene, it really needs to be cleaned up before you put it back on the trucks and until now we've been using personal vehicle."

The truck can also be used for some code enforcement and also general department use. "Clow was gracious enough to offer this truck and I really want to thank them. Companies like this make our lives a lot simpler.  It's going to be a nice asset," Neff said.
