On Saturday, May 14, 2016, AB&I team members and their families participated in a Kids Against Hunger event. Kids Against Hunger packages highly nutritious, life-saving meals for starving and malnourished children and their families in developing countries and the United States. The goal of the organization is for its meals to provide a stable nutritional base from which recipient families can move their families from starvation to self-sufficiency.

At the packing event, volunteers assembled fortified soy/rice casserole-style meals specifically formulated to meet the nutritional needs of starving children. These meals are then distributed to humanitarian organizations worldwide, including Haiti and the Philippines. The AB&I volunteers packaged 7,776 meals in just two hours.

Great job!
