ULFM Indicator Posts
Overview
Indicator Posts are used in industrial fire protection systems or other installations where it is necessary to tell at a glance if the valve is in the open or closed position. Indicator posts can be furnished in the vertical type or the wall type.
Posts have a large window opening that is fitted with a heavy clear plexiglass. Aluminum target plates with the words OPEN and SHUT cast in large, easy-to-read raised letters are located directly behind the window in such a position that the appropriate word appears as the valve is operated.
Stem, indicators, and all working parts are fully protected from moisture and weather damage by complete enclosure. Operating nuts 1-1/4" square and wrench are furnished for vertical indicator posts unless otherwise specified.
