Congratulations to Aqua and the city of Marion, Ohio for kicking off the new year with a major upgrade to their water system. 5900 feet of 6-inch main will be retired after 120 years of service and replaced with new 12-inch Ductile iron pipe from McWane Ductile. The construction, being completed in four phases, will begin in January and be complete in six months. Aqua, which operates more than 40 systems in Ohio, will be investing more than $65 Millon across the state in 2024, including about $10 Million in the Marion area.
